Hey there! If you are here, you definitely have a question. But you know what? We can’t really read minds. So we thought we’d answer a bunch of questions we get asked every day. Who knows? Your question might just get answered? (Ah, there we go, asking you questions!)

 

  •  Where am I?

    You are at beStylish.com – India’s largest online shoe store. Yes, really!


  • What’s the big idea behind beStylish.com?

    beStylish.com is an online shoe store, much like a physical shoe store, except that we have a wider range and many more brands under one roof, not to forget, latest styles for men, women and kids. The website allows you to browse, sort footwear according to your purchase criteria (style, price, color, heel size, etc.) and then select shoes that fit your requirement. All in all, shoe shopping is a super fun experience with beStylish.com. But then, when is shoe shopping not?

  • Do you guys have a store? Can I see a catalogue?

    Currently, we’re only a web store. We don’t have retail outlets. As for the catalogue, bookmark the website and keep checking from time to time, you can find out what’s new, what’s hot, what’s not, etc.

  • Why should I buy shoes online?

    Well, you don’t really have to. You could always drive to a mall on a weekend, find parking, wade through the crowd, window shop incessantly, and then find the perfect pair – which you may/may not find in the right size.
    OR, you can visit us, browse through 50,000 pairs of shoes you’ll like, at prices you’d love; and finish shoe shopping in a few clicks! Makes sense, right?

  • Can you give me three good reasons why I should buy shoes from your website?

    Sure thing! Here goes:

    i. We have the best prices in town, actually the country.
    ii. From the every-popular international brands to the trusted Indian names, shoes off the runway, exclusively retailed brands and specialized shoes,  we  have it all. Nike, Reebok, Puma, Adidas, DKNY, D&G, Versace, Crocs, Woodland, Liberty – the list is endless!
    iii. Returns are free. Don’t like it? Send it back. We’ll even come to your door to have it picked up.
    iv. You get 28 days now 100 days to change your mind on your shoe shopping. That’s like getting more than 3 months to take a decision!
    v. Our care team is operational 365 days a year, in case you need any assistance. That includes Diwali, Eid, Christmas, New Year’s Eve, Sundays, Mondays… you get the drift.

    Oh, you had asked for three reasons. Sorry, we’ve been trained to over-deliver!

     

  • I’m a little wary of picking up shoes online. I mean, how do I know if the shoe will fit without trying it on? Sizes differ from one brand to another, how do I find out my size?

    Here’s an easy way out. Check a couple of shoes in your closet right now, and then cross check with the size conversion chart on our website. You’ll know what to order! Or simply order 2 sizes and return the pair that doesn’t fit.

  • One more concern, can I be sure you’re selling genuine brands? Are the pictures on your site the same as the products that will finally be shipped?

    We are the authorized retailers for all the brands we stock. Take our word for it! Oh, about the pictures, they’ve all been clicked by us and uploaded for you to see and shop. Check the 360 degree view before you add stuff to the cart. But if there be a slight change in shade, please don’t blame us, let’s collectively gang up against the camera!

  • What about shipping? Do you deliver anywhere in the world?

    Not really. But we ship to most parts of the country, except North-East. At the moment, only a few cities in Assam, Manipur and Andaman & Nicobar Islands are covered; Meghalaya, Sikkim, Tripura, Mizoram and Nagaland aren’t. So if you have a question on this, just check with customer care, to be sure.

  • Who is your shipping partner?

    We wish we could use pigeons like they did back then, but we don’t want to offend PETA. So we partner with Blue Dart, On Dot Couriers, DTDC, Overnite Express, Aramex and the Post Office to help us deliver your products.

  • Do you charge for shipping?

    If your order is above Rs.300, it’s free! For orders below Rs 300, a shipping charge of Rs. 50 is levied. Hint, hint: order more, people!

  • Does the price you quote on the website include taxes and VAT and service charges and stuff like that?

    Yes, all inclusive! Smiley

  • Can I place a wholesale order or make group purchases?

    We are primarily a retail business; but wait… we do take up wholesale orders for qualified business customers. So, if you are interested in wholesale, shoot an e-mail with your name, company name, contact info and a list of products you're interested in. We’ll have someone call you and tell you if we can accommodate your needs. However, let’s be transparent – prices can and do vary, based the style of shoes and quantities involved. We’ll also be happy to assist you with group purchases (corporate, team, etc). Again, send us an e-mail and we’ll revert ASAP. Ok? Ok.

     

  • So how do I go about ordering?

    That’s an easy one. First, browse through our collection, take your pick, choose your size, enter the quantity and click on ‘add to cart’. Then, review the shoes in your shopping cart, if you think you’re good to go, click on ‘go to checkout’ button, log in or sign up, and then pay!

     

  • What’s the sign up procedure?

    Check the top right part of the page, to register/log-in. Once you’ve signed up for an account, you can click on ‘My account’, to update your mailing address, e-mail ID, e-mail preferences, change your password and most importantly, check orders.
    For regular updates (psst: that means sales, deals, steals and all things exclusive), you can sign up for our newsletters by clicking on the link ‘Newsletter subscribe’ under ‘more information', or, during checkout, opt-in to receive e-mails. But don’t worry, we won’t stalk you! You can always unsubscribe at any point of time – look for the instructions below each promotional e-mail or use the ‘unsubscribe' link on the website.

  • What if I don’t want to pay online? They say fraudulent online transactions are on the rise, so I’m not too comfortable doing this.

    Well, you know that fraudulence can happen anywhere, right? Even at your friendly neighborhood store! But we understand that you are paranoid. Whatever be your payment option, it goes through secure encrypted connections. If you aren’t comfortable with a credit card payment or net banking, you can always pay on delivery. Yes, we are nice like that!

  • How does this Cash on Delivery (COD) thing work?

    It’s simple. You pay cash when the shoes are delivered! But please, pay cash and only cash, which means no cheques or DDs. Don’t pay any additional charges (Octroi, etc.) to the courier staff either. Your invoice amount is all inclusive.
    Also remember, COD works only on orders below Rs. 10,000.
    Oh and most importantly, please make sure you take our COD confirmation call or respond to our e-mail, within 48 hours. Alternatively, you can call us at 1800-419-0300 to confirm. Because if you don’t, we wouldn’t be able to go ahead and process your order!


  • What happens after I place my order?

    You receive it. Very soon. But we may call you to confirm the order and your address. So do look out for our call. Like we said, we try 3 times, in case of COD orders & once, in case of a pre-paid order. After the attempt(s), a COD order may get cancelled, if we do not get a confirmation. Pre-paid orders will get shipped anyway.
    You should receive your order within 2 days, or less, if your shipping destination is a major metro city or 7-10 working days depending on your location. If not, give us a shout and we’ll look into it ASAP.

  • Ok, I’ve placed an order, but is there any way I can cancel it or modify it?

    First things first, get in touch with our customer care, ASAP, with your order details. If your order hasn’t been processed already; yes, we can cancel it and refund your amount. However, if you want to change products, color, size, or even add another product to your current order; you’ll be making life a little difficult for us. How about canceling the first order and placing a new one? Please, pretty, please!
    You can modify your billing/shipping address though, till the time the order isn’t confirmed/ processed. How? Easy, peasy! Just call us and give us the updated details.

  • What do you guys exactly mean by ‘awaiting payment confirmation’?

    Well, let’s say you pay for an order through credit card/debit card/net banking, and for some reason, your payment doesn’t get processed immediately; your account will show this status (much like a Facebook status :) till we receive the confirmation from your bank. Chill, it’s just a temporary thing.

  • OMG! My payment failed! What do I do now?

    Unsuccessful payment? Try placing your order again or call customer care. Simple!

  • What if I my order takes time to reach my doorstep? What should I be doing?

    Shouldn’t happen. We try our very best to deliver within 1-2 working days, if you live in the Metros. It could extend to 7-10 working days, from the date of purchase, depending on where you want the shoes delivered.
    Sometimes the delivery time is subject to factors that are way beyond our control (“Force Majeure Event” – fancy words, eh?), including unexpected travel delays from the courier partners / transporters, due to weather conditions and/or strikes.
    But if it does get delayed, send us an e-mail on care@bestylish.com or call us on 1800-419-0300. We’ll have it sorted out in a jiffy!

  • Can I check the status of my order? If yes, how?

    Yes, you can. Just log into your account and click on the order – you’ll be able to check the status. What’s more, you can also track your consignment! How? Click on the delivery information, you’ll see the airway bill number along with the name of the courier company delivering your purchase. Keep track!

  • Ok, the shoes have been delivered. But what if I don’t like what I’ve ordered or if the shoes don’t fit?

    Return it!

  • How does your return policy function?

    We have a ‘no questions asked’ return policy. And by that, we mean just that. Order with the confidence that you don’t have to keep what you don’t want. If you’re not happy with what you get, no issues. Return the item.
    All you have to do is ensure that the products are unused, unworn, unwashed and undamaged! We offer a 28 days now 100 days grace period to accommodate returns. What’s more, returns are free, and we’ll have the shoes picked up from your doorstep. Cool?

  • Ok, more on returns – what exactly do I need to do? I need some spoon feeding here! 

    It’s really easy. Just inform customer care or log into your account to place a return request. You can always log back to check the status of your request.

  • What happens if I buy shoes using a voucher or through a promo? Do I still get a refund?

    We’ll give you a voucher for the same amount. Now that’s as good as a refund, right?

  • Fine, I know I can return shoes, but are there any dos and don’ts I should keep in mind?

    You are a good customer, and you know it! Want to make sure you return the right way?

    Follow these:
    Dos:
    1) Put the shoes in the original box packing, along with the invoice.
    2) Put this box in the beStylish carton and seal the carton with the tape provided.
    3) Open the poly bag, put the beStylish carton in the bag, fold the flaps and seal the bag by peeling off the tape strip and fixing the same in one shot. (psst: this is a tamper proof seal and can’t be opened, once sealed).
    4) Handover the consignment to the service provider and take an airway bill from him.
    5) E-mail the airway bill details to customer care at care@bestylish.com

    Don’ts:
    1) We don’t accept returns on products under Rs.300.
    2) If you return a product without its original packing, we’ll be charging a nominal amount of Rs.100 as restocking fee.

  • What if you guys take ages for the return pick up? Is there anything I can do?

    Well, if for some reason, there’s a delay in your reverse pick up, you could courier it back to us (via Post Office/Speed Post). We’ll reimburse the cost or give you a 10% discount voucher, which you can use on your subsequent purchases! How cool is that?

We’ll be bloody honest – sometimes we get to try out new styles. But on the downside, we only get tempted to buy more shoes than we need. But that isn’t such a bad thing really.

 

3. Apparently Cinderella got a new pair of shoes and that changed her life. Does it have to do with the new shoes or Prince Charming?


We’re biased about this one. It’s got to be the shoes. As for Prince Charming, we got shoes in prints that are charming. (yeah, we know, bad pun!)

 

 4. Got any advice for people who act according to their shoe sizes and not their age?
